Obituary of Merriam Fisher

Merriam Fisher passed away on Monday, May 31, 2010 at the age of 102 years and 5 months. She was born in Canby, Minnesota. She graduated from Canby High School and then attended and graduated from the Moser School of Business, Chicago, IL, after which she was employed as a book-keeper and secretary for a few years. Merriam was predeceased by her parents, her first husband, and two sisters. In October 1967 she married Walter Fisher of Montmartre, and moved to Saskatchewan. After 35 years of marriage, Walter passed away November 7, 2002. Merriam is survived by one sister Lyda Moberg of Sun City, AZ and many nieces, nephews and kind friends. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. John Haas officiating. Please meet at the cemetery gates.
