Obituary of Joseph Sotkowy

It is with sadness that the family of Joseph Sotkowy announces his passing on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 in the William Booth Wascana Grace Hospice, at the age of 78. Joseph was predeceased by his loving wife of 48 years, Rosalyn, parents Walter and Telka (nee Kardinal) Sotkowy, brothers Stan, Frank and Tony, sister Adeleine Burns, and brother-in-law Vern Perkins He is survived by his sons Warren (Leanne) and Lyndon (Kayla), and grandchildren Andrew, Matthew, Riley and Jade who were his pride and joy. Joseph is also survived by his brothers Jake (Marge) and John (Sandra); sisters Kay Perkins, Agatha (Tom) Diemert, Terry (Jim) McCowan, Ann (Ken) Anderson and sisters-in-law Kay Sotkowy and Pat Sotkowy. Prayers will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, June 4, 2010 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Divine Liturgy will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2010 in St. Basils Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1757 Toronto Street, Regina.
