Obituary of Sophie Nowicki

SOPHIE NOWICKI (nee SASS) On Friday, December 14, 2012, Sophie passed away peacefully at Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home in Regina at the age of 80 years, to be reunited with her beloved husband of 40 years, Stan Nowicki. Sophie is survived by sisters: Margaret (Ken) Kitsch, Melville; Elizabeth Gray, Regina; and Sandra (Denis) Piche, Saskatoon; and by her brother Al (Lynne) Saas, Mistusinne. Besides her husband, Sophie was also predeceased by her parents, John and Anne Sass of Melville; her brother, Fred Sass, and, on October 25, 2012, her sister, Gladys Rolufs, of Regina. On Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home, 4215 Regina Avenue in Regina, a Mass will be said at 1:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of the lives of Sophie and her sister Gladys.
