Obituary of Michael Sprentz

Michael John Sprentz passed away peacefully on June 14, 2010, at the age of 73 years. Mike was predeceased by his parents Louis and Rose, brother Louis, in-laws Sebastian and Angela Majkut, Don Naemark, Walter Seyer, nephew Erin Seyer, and niece Samantha Zackrisson. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, Mike is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Adeline; daughters Susan (Darren) McDonald and Laura (Henri) Golczyk; sons Michael (Maria) and John (Heather); eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, his brothers Paul (Angie) and Jim (Sharon), sisters Martha Naemark and Rosemarie (Del) Hack, in-laws Irene (Ron) Bushell, Nicky Sprentz, Joanna Majkut, Lillian (Dan) Burkart, Frances Seyer, Art (Fran) Majkut, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. For 38 years, Mike was a dedicated employee of the Leader Post where he made many lifelong friends. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2010 in St. Annes RC Church, 1701 Cowan Crescent, Regina, with Rev. Gary Lindenbach, Celebrant.
