HEATHER BANKS (nee Beattie) Heather died unexpectedly on Monday, June 21, 2010. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother who always put her family first, including the canine grandkids. Heather married Earl on May 7th, 1960 and was blessed with three daughters over the years, Donna (1960), Deanna (1968) and Deborah (1970). In 1973 the family moved to Regina where mom kept herself busy raising her girls?, doing surveys, baking (her famous butter tarts) and bowling. In March 1981 she began working at the Plains Health Centre. This led to a fulfilling office career in the health region, working at also the Pasqua and General Hospitals, where she retired from in 2004. Her retirement years were spent going to Curves where she reached almost 1,000 visits, shopping with her dear friend Velma and continuing to be a terrific wife, mom and grandmother. Heather will be dearly missed by her husband Earl, daughters Donna (John) Ollinger, Deanna (Robert) Miron, Deborah Banks (Jason Sherwin); granddaughters Andrea, Kristina, Jessica and Shawna Ollinger, Lillian and Isabella Miron and one and only grandson Dylan Miron; brothers Don (June) Beattie and David (Janis) Beattie.
