Obituary of Clarence Franklin Hastings

Clarence passed away June 26, 2010 in Regina SK at the age of 73. He will be greatly missed by his wife of fifty-one years, Jeannie Hastings; sons, Malcolm French (Jan Cowie), Marvin (Dawn) Hastings, and daughters, Patricia (Doug) Kinney, Janice (Dejan) Vuckovic, and Bev Palibroda; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Clarence is also survived by his brothers, Dennis (Alice), Joe (Bonnie), Allen (Glenda), and his sister Pat Renwick; plus numerous nieces and nephews. He valued his 44 years as a friend of Bill W and had a powerful presence amongst his Brotherhood. The host of friends and acquaintances that have become Clarences extended family are likely to pause often to remember the passion that tempered his loyalty to friends and family. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 2, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Private family interment at Regina Memorial Gardens.
