Obituary of Arthur Norman Petrovitch

November 2, 1920 June 30, 2010 With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Art at Palliative Care, Pasqua Hospital on June 30, 2010. Predeceased by his parents John in 1972 and Emma in 1967; brothers John and Irvine (Pete). He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Margaret; sons Neil (Shirley) of Regina Beach and Rodney of Regina; grandchildren Marnie (Conor) Monks of New Westminster, BC and James (Allison Fradette) of Regina; six step-grandchildren and families; great-grandchildren Brooklyn and Rylan Monks of New Westminster, BC; brother Wayne (Sandy) of Regina; sister Louise (Tom) Danyk of BC as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Art served in the Navy from 1941 to 1945, then worked at Canada Manpower from 1945 to 1975. Art enjoyed woodworking. Art and Marg spent many happy winters in Hawaii and Arizona. We send Thanks to Dr. Sally Mahood & nurses at the Palliative Care, Pasqua Hospital for their loving and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre Street, Regina, SK S4P 2R3 or the Regina Humane Society, Box 3143, Regina, SK S4P 7G7. At Arts request, there will be no religious service. A Celebration of Arts Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 in Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina.
