Obituary of Helen Schaffer

HELEN SCHAFFER Peacefully, surrounded by family, it is with great sadness that Helens family announces her passing after a brief but courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the age of 82. Helen was predeceased by her husband Anton Tony?; grandson Kyle; son-in-law Don Falconer; her parents Mike and Margaret Baumgartner; brothers Tony, Dan and Ben Baumgartner; sister and brother-in-law Antonia and Richard Gjesdal; father-in-law and mother-in-law Adam and Magdalena Schaffer; sisters-in-law Margaret Weisgarber and Margaret Schaffer; brothers-in-law Jack, Vince, Casper, Joe and Pete Schaffer, Stan Eberle and Tony Weisgarber. Helen is survived by her children Linda, Ken, Dale (Debbie), Dave (Yvonne), Bonnie (Dave) and Kelly (Debbie); ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Dorothy Baumgartner, Iris Baumgartner, Barb (Mike) Weisgarber, Rose Eberle, Ell (Sandy) Duthie and Anne Schaffer; brothers-in-law Leo (Loreen), Max (Marg) and Steve Schaffer; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Child R.C. Church, 2636 7th Avenue East, Regina, SK on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Private family interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
