Obituary of Albert Edward Seal

November 24, 1921 July 9, 2010 After a very long struggle, Al passed away peacefully with family members by his side. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Mary Edna Burgess and daughter Mary Anne. Left to cherish his memory are sons Edward (Barb), William (Maggie) and Douglas (Glenda); daughters Maureen Gibson, Mary (Darren) McNaughton; and one special niece Gail Strand. He was also survived by one grandson James (Lisa); seven granddaughters Carla (Don), Jamie (Colin), Lee (Evan), Amanda, Kathleen, Randie and April, as well as several great-grandchildren. Al served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. He later spent the majority of his career at SaskTel, retiring as Construction Manager in 1983. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to each and every care giver at the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice. In Dads own words, these people were like angels to him. The family would also like to thank Dr. Duffy and Dr. Johnson for their care and support. At Alberts request, a small private service for family and close friends was held earlier this month. We wish to thank Major Margaret MacKenzie for her words of comfort and all of her support. Flowers most gratefully declined. For those so wishing, memorial donations may be made to the Regina Wascana Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road, Regina, SK, S4R 8P6
