Obituary of Elaine Amelia Balkwill

Elaine quietly passed away with her family by her side on July 14, 2010. Predeceased by her husband Wayne Balkwill in 1977, parents Dan and Marion Sanderson, sister Sharon and granddaughter Ashley Poole. Elaine is survived by daughters Kim Marsden and Roxy Balkwill, son Bradley Balkwill, six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters Lois (Ferdy) Justik and Daphne Henry, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Elaine enjoyed life and her career working as Executive Secretary to Senator Dave Stuart during his career with the Saskatchewan Liberal Party, as well as with CNIB and Ranch Ehrlo. She also enjoyed the many years spent with family and friends at their cottage in Lebret until the passing of her husband. A Celebration of Elaines Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 16, 2010 in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
