Obituary of Kerry Milton Enick

Kerry Enick, late of Calgary, AB passed away July 15, 2010 at the age of 50 years. He was predeceased by his grandfather Milton Enick, uncle Bayne Enick and grandparents Paul and Georgina Colbeck. Left to mourn his passing are Sharon Enick, his wife of 25 years; parents Gerald and Laura Enick; sisters Kathleen; Kimberley (Todd) Girgulis; younger brother Karman (Cheryl) Enick and their children Brayden and Karyssa; grandmother Mary Enick, aunts Dorothy (Bland) Brown; Marilyn (Roy) Erikson, and Donna Enick; his cousins and friends, and special running coach Sara Gross. Kerry was born in Saskatoon, SK and grew up in Birch Hills. He was an Environmental Engineer, taking his education at the University of Saskatchewan, SIAST in Moose Jaw and received his degree at the University of Regina. Our Kerry was a sensitive but determined person who put all his skill and energy into everything he attempted. His love of nature and the outdoors was a joy to him and a solace in difficult times in his life. In the last few years of his life, Kerry became a marathon runner. His crowning achievement, of which he was most proud, was the completion of his Ironman Dream? in Penticton, BC, on August 30, 2009 after 8 years of training. He had lost 155 pounds and had established the healthy lifestyle for which he strived. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2010 in St. Pauls Cathedral, 1861 McIntyre Street, Regina, S4P 2R2. The Very Rev. James D. Merrett will be officiating. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers most gratefully declined. Those so wishing may make donations, in memoriam, to the St. Pauls Building in Faith Campaign;?
