It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear father Arthur Leslie Myers on Tuesday, July 20, 2010. Art was predeceased by his wife Helen (nee Hiscutt) and is survived by his daughter Faith, her husband Stacy and their children Sean and Ryan; his son Les (Arthur Leslie) and his wife Vesna, both of Winnipeg and his daughter Melody, her husband Paul and their son Max also of Winnipeg. Art was born in Yorkton, SK on November 13, 1921. He married Helen Hiscutt on November 16, 1949 and they had three children. He lived the majority of his life at 3603 Caen Avenue the yellow house on the corner of McCallum and Argyle in the Lakeview area. Dad could be seen sitting on the porch of our Caen Avenue home having a beer and watching the activities of the neighbourhood. Thanks to those who would stop by and say hello we know he appreciated the company! A special thanks to Erla and Dee who kept an eye on Dad for us we appreciate your continued care and support over the many years. Art entered military service with the Navy in 1939 as an able seaman and was discharged from duty in 1947, and was in active duty during World War II during this time.
