Obituary of Richard Morgan
Richard Dick? passed away peacefully with his family at his side on July 26, 2010, after a brief illness. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Helen Morgan, Dick is survived by his wife Georgia, his loving children Terri and Bobby, his brother Stu (Jan) Morgan, sisters Jacqueline Barton and Gail Murray and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Dick had a long career of public service. He served in the Canadian Military for over 22 years and rose to the rank of Warrant Officer (WO) in the Regular Force. Dick served a double tour of duty overseas and on retirement served several years with the Reserves. He joined the Saskatchewan Public Service as a Corrections Officer with the Ministry of Corrections, Public Safety and Policing and was employed at the Regina Correctional Centre at the time of his passing. During his career, Dick was fortunate to have made many friends who continued to stay in touch over the years. The family would like to thank the medical staff of 3E at the RGH for their special care. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 in the Regina Armoury, 1600 Elphinstone Street, Regina. Interment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park, 815 Assiniboine Avenue.
