Obituary of Ann Shuparsky

SHUPARSKY, Ann (nee Wasilinchuk) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother on Sunday, November 23, 2008. Mom was born in the Wroxton district on December 6, 1927. She attended Chaucer School. In 1947 she married John Shuparsky and together they had three daughters: Pat, Isabelle and Doreen. Mom especially enjoyed her six grandchildren. She took great pride and joy in all their achievements. Mom loved to cook for her family and friends. She was employed at several food establishments as a baker and as a cook. She welcomed everyone to her home and enjoyed special moments with each of them. Ann will be missed by everyone who knew her. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Bella Wasilinchuk and her husband John. Ann will be lovingly remembered by her children, Pat (Ron) Jacques, three grandchildren Ian, Monique (DArcy) and Kevin of Coquitlam, BC; Isabelle (Alan) Jackson, two granddaughters, Andrea and Erica (Derek) of Regina; Doreen (Lorne) Stinson and grandson Shawn of Regina; her sisters, Mary Rublitz of Regina, Victoria (Steve) Starchuk of Yorkton, and Esther Rublitz of Roblin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Rite will be held on Thursday, November 27, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in Descent of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Orthodox Sobor, 1305 " 12th Avenue, Regina with Rev. Brent Kuzyk officiating.
