Obituary of Steven Kent Scott

SCOTT, KENT_ Born June 1950 Died November 29, 2008 It is with great sadness that Kent's family announces his untimely death from complications associated with lung cancer. Born in Brockville Ontario, Regina has been Kent's home for the past twenty-five years, shared with his loving wife Karen Layng. Kent is also survived by his mother Joesphine Scott, Lorraine (sister) and Glenn Perkins, Linda Gordon (sister), Margaret and Richard Dolan (Layng), John and Marnie Layng and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Eric Scott and brother-in-law Taylor Gordon. At his death, Kent was co-owner of Cafe Orange and Kitchen Toys and Tools in the Cathedral Village Regina. A celebration of his rich, full life will be held at the Royal Regina Golf Course on Thursday, December 4, 2008 at 2 pm. Interment and a gathering of family and friends will take place in Brockville, Ontario. Contribution in Kent's honour and memory to the Lung Association of Saskatchewan, 1231 8th Street East, Saskatchewan, S7H 0S5, for research into Interstitial Lung Disease are welcomed.
