Obituary of Bill Russell

RUSSELL " William (Bill) Russell passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on December 1, 2008 at the age of 62 years. Born in Santa Ana, California on November 5, 1946, he is predeceased by his father Homer Russell and two grandsons, Lachlan Russell-MacLean and Nathaniel Bundy. Bill is survived by his mother Erna Russell in Montana, brothers John (Carol) in Montana, Dick (Carol) in Alaska and sister Leanna (Dale) Rodabaugh in Ohio. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Eleanor and daughters Heather (Joel) and Xavier and Rowan Russell-MacLean of Regina, Amy (Peter) and Liam and Simon Bundy of Quebec and Lynette Russell of Regina. His love of family surpassed his personal or business accomplishments. Bills career included graphic arts and business consulting. His last project was the Nipawin Biomass Ethanol Project which was a challenge and a source of energy for him. He found great fulfillment in depending on Gods unfailing kindness and in serving his family, friends and community. A celebration of Bills life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in First Baptist Church, 2241 Victoria Avenue, Regina with Rev. Dr. Mark McKim officiating.
