Obituary of William David Swinton

SWINTON - William Swinton, late of Regina, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at the age of 73 years. Predeceased by his dearly beloved wife, Sylvia; his daughter, Linda (Larry) Hodel; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Doug Swinton of Sorrento, BC and Jack Swinton of Calgary, AB; and his best friend and brother-in-law, Larry Gessey. William will be dearly missed by his daughter, Debra (Doug) Smith of Moose Jaw and their family. His daughters, Barbara (Peter) Meier of Regina, Brenda Roberts of Regina, Donna (Dean) Shular of Drayton Valley, AB; his sister, Anne of St. Albert, AB; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Irene Gessey; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in Regina Cemetery, Broad Street and 4th Avenue (please meet inside 4th Avenue gate).
