Obituary of Russell Kenneth Watson

WATSON " Russell Kenneth Watson. On Sunday, December 7, 2008, Russell Kenneth Watson, late of Regina, passed away suddenly at the age of 75 years. He was predeceased by his father Bill Watson, mother Adeliene Nagel, and stepfather Sigmund Nagel. He is survived by his sons, Derrick (Brenda), Scott (Janet), Grant (Leanne) and their mother Anne Watson; three grandchildren, Brandon, Alex, and Carter Watson, all of Regina. He is also survived by his uncle, Herb Siewert and family of Dugald MB; as well as many close friends. Russ was very mechanically inclined, which led him to a successful career working as a Mechanical Technician in the Dairy Industry, working with Excello Corporation, Palm Dairies, and many other Dairies. He was also a Maintenance Engineer until he retired in 1992. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and playing hockey until he was 46 years old. He also enjoyed meeting his friends at the Regina Flying Club and Denvers Pizza for coffee and fellowship. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of SK, 279 " 3rd Avenue N., Saskatoon, SK, S7K 2H8. There will be no funeral at Russells request. Friends so wishing, may come to Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, December 12, 2008 to sign a book of condolences and pay their respects to Russ.
