Obituary of Irene Isabel Louise Desjarlais

DESJARLAIS " It is with mixed feelings that the Desjarlais family announces the passing of our Mother, Irene Isabel Desjarlais (nee Gaddie). Irene slipped away peacefully surrounded by numerous children and grandchildren on Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at the Pasqua Hospital, Palliative Care Unit in Regina. Irene will be missed, but it is also joyful to know that she is with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Irene was predeceased by her first husband Louis Desjarlais; sons Ronald and Albert. Irene is survived by her husband Eric; sons Gilbert (Denise); Brian (Gloria); daughters, Connie (Roland); Joyce; and sons Robert (Beverly); Clayton (Louise); and numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and in-laws. We want to thank the staff at the Palliative Care Unit for the care and compassion they showed to our Mom and our family. A Celebration of Irenes life will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. There will be a private graveside service at a later date.
