Obituary of Douglas Frederick Edelman

EDELMAN " On Friday, December 19, 2008 Douglas Frederick Edelman passed away at the age of 82 years. Left to mourn is his wife, Joy Edelman; children, Linda Huynink (Ben), Doug Edelman (Donelda), Wanda Engel (Dale), Wade Talbott, Judy Snider (Rick); his grandchildren Kerry, Stephanie, Shannon, Erin, Jennifer, Beth, Mike, Matthew, Melissa, Jason (Lindsay), Devin (Kirsten), Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Kieran, Adria, Jasmine; brother, Stu (Jean); sisters, Hazel (Bert) Nelson, Ethel (Keith) Read, Lillian Woodhead, Audrey Dean; sister-in-law, Fran Edelman; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Doug was predeceased by his parents, Fred and Agnes (nee Welsh); sisters, Mildred Sayers, Eunice; brothers Albert and Larry; and brothers-in-law, Vince Woodhead, Bobby Dean and Joe Sayers. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Renal Dialysis Unit at the Regina General Hospital. At Dougs request there will be no funeral service. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined.
