Obituary of James Moffat Boyd Garland

GARLAND " Dr. J. M. Boyd Garland passed away peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2008. Predeceased by his beloved wife Lore and sister-in-law, Rita. He is survived by his children, Jessie Garland; Ed (Lorraine) Garland, Emily, Carolyn, Sarah; Veronica (Jacques) Bollenot, Joseph, Martin, Madeleine, Simon; Valerie (Dean) Muma, Peter, Evelyn, Michael, Jeffrey, Laura; Eric (Agnieszka) Garland, Krystian, Konrad, Lena. Boyd was born in Scotland in 1928 and emigrated to Canada in 1956. He married his beloved wife Lore on December 23, 1958. Boyd was an Anaesthetist in Ontario for many years. He moved to Regina in 1979 where he continued to practice at the Regina General Hospital until his retirement. He and Lore retired to Welland, ON in 1990. Boyd moved back to Regina after the death of his wife. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel at Queen Victoria Estates, 2025 Heseltine Road, Regina with Rev. Jack Oglesby officiating.
