Obituary of Frank Sebastian Ziegler

ZIEGLER, Frank passed away peacefully in Regina on Friday, December 26, 2008 at the age of 87. Frank was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Gertrude; sisters Rose Stoppler, Gertrude Trueman, Anne Marte, Christina Knoll, Eva Parker; brother Edward; sister-in-law Irene Ziegler; brothers-in-law Bill Parker and Larry Stoppler. He is survived by his sister Evelyn (Bob) Richards of Calgary, AB; brothers Jim of Regina, SK, Adam (Anne) of Weyburn, SK, and Gerry (Marg) of Calgary, AB; sister-in-law Monika Ziegler; brothers-in-law Norman Trueman and Jake Knoll; adopted sister Pat Stoppler; and numerous nieces and nephews. Born in 1921, Frank spent much of his working life in pipeline construction throughout Saskatchewan with SaskPower before retiring in 1983. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces between 1943-1946. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held at St. Francis Roman Catholic Church, in FRANCIS SK on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Louis Abello, celebrant.
