Obituary of Elaine Margaret Edith Smith

SMITH " Surrounded by her family, ELAINE SMITH, late of Regina, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at the age of 50 years. Elaine is survived by her loving husband, Curt; two daughters, Tara Smith and Shari Smith; parents Clayton and Edna Phillips; brother Mervin (Diane) Phillips and their children, Leane, Nathan, Ryan and Sean; brother Larry (Laurel) Phillips; sister Carolyn Hoffman and her daughters, Sara and Claire of Edmonton, AB; mother-in-law Mona Smith (Don Smith, deceased) and sister-in-law Susan (Peter) Zimmerman both of Victoria, BC. Elaine has touched many lives through the years with her nursing and with coaching girls basketball. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of 3B and 3A of the Pasqua Hospital and a special thank you to Dr. McLeod for her compassionate care. A Private Family Service will be held.
