Obituary of Betty Matties

MATTIES " On Sunday, January 11, 2009 Betty Matties passed away peacefully at the age of 73 years, after a long illness with her daughters by her side. Predeceased by her parents, George and Ethel Broadis, Betty is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Norman; children, Dale (Debbie) and son Devin; Dwight (Pam) and son Zachary; Charlene (Dale) and daughter Nicole and son Justin; Angela (Alan); her canine companion, Chip; brother, Rodney (Shirley) Broadis; brother-in-law, Fred (Ann) Matties; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue with Ken Robinson officiating. Interment at a later date.
