Obituary of Patricia Beatrice Spires

SPIRES, PATRICIA - It is with sadness that the family of Patricia Beatrice Spires announces her passing on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at the age of 97. Predeceased by her parents, Maude and Charles Gillard, grandson Daniel, and by her husband, Jack in 2001. Patricia is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Dale) Welta, granddaughters Carmen Welta (Todd Kalyniuk), Cathy WeltaEagles (Vern Eagles), and great-grandchildren Tomas, Victoria, and Weston. Pat was born in England and came to Canada when she was one year old. Her family settled in the Watrous area and she later moved to Regina where she and Jack continued to make their home. Pat's family wish to thank Pioneer Village staff for the comfort, support and excellent care that they provided to Pat and her family these past few years. Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 16th at 10:00 a.m. at Pioneer Village Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Regina Pioneer Village, 430 Pioneer Drive, Regina S4T 6L8 or the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301-2550 12th Avenue, Regina S4P 3X1.
