Obituary of Gordon Fairburn

GORDON FAIRBURN March 29, 1921 December 27, 2012 Gordon, formerly of Regina Beach, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the age of 91. Gordon is predeceased by his loving wife of 62 years Grace, parents William and May, and nine brothers and sisters. He is survived and will be lovingly remembered by his son James, daughter Susannah, grandson Joshua, brother Jim (Mavis) and numerous nieces and nephews. Gordon enjoyed playing cards with friends, curling and most of all he loved golfing. He remained very active in the community and truly enjoyed living at the lake. A Memorial Service will be held in The Community Crematorium at the Regina Cemetery (use Broad Street entrance) on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in memoriam, to the charity of your choice.
