Obituary of Lorrie Lee Park

PARK - Lorrie Lee Park passed away with her family by her side on January 29, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her brother Robert Park; grandparents John and Elsie Park, and John and Sophie Stadnyk. Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Gerald and Anne Stadnyk; children Natasha (Claude), Roberta, Dustin, and Dana; grandchildren Kato-Lee, Keano, Riley, Kalee, and Maryanne; sisters Brenda Park, Shirley Park, and Misty Stadnyk (Rob); nieces Courtney, Shazie, Brittany, and nephew Cody. Lorrie was born on December 14, 1964 in Brandon, MB. She was a kind-hearted person who was always willing to offer a helping hand. Lorrie shared a special bond with each of her children and loved spending quality time together as a family. Her greatest pride was her grandchildren and she enjoyed babysitting and spending as much time as she could with them. Lorrie possessed a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed life to the fullest. Her laugh was contagious and she could easily light up a room with her smile. One of Lorries greatest passions was cooking and she loved to create her own recipes. She loved old time country music and could often be found making CDs for family and friends. Lorrie also liked all things supernatural, from scary movies to ghost hunting excursions. She always looked forward to quiet evenings at home, sitting down with a good book. Lorrie will be lovingly missed and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Thank you to the staff at the Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care Unit and a special thank you to the staff at 3B for the wonderful and compassionate care they provided for Lorrie.
