Obituary of Robert 'Garth' Eastman

ROBERT GARTH EASTMAN Robert Garth Eastman, born May 23, 1947 died suddenly at his home in Regina on March 16, 2009. Garth was predeceased by his parents Glady and Bob Eastman, formerly of Regina. He is survived by his brother Douglas; sister Wendy (Johnson); nieces, Tara (Oates) and Erin (Ruscica); and nephew Benjamin Eastman. He will be remembered fondly by his immediate family as well as cousins, Sherrie and Don Tutt of Regina and Rouleau, and their children, Ann, Keith, Darcie (Cooper) and Sara (Watson); as well as many friends at CMS and AOTS. Garth was a gentle man who was particularly loved by children and dogs. He loved good food, good friends, cars and airplanes. Whenever the sun shone he longed to soar above the clouds. We wish him well on this his last flight. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK. A second Memorial Service will be held in Ottawa in early spring. Flowers most gratefully declined.
