Obituary of Sarah Madeliene' Andrews

Sarah "Madeliene" Andrews It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Madeliene on March 16, 2009. Madeliene was born in the Tisdale District, SK on June 10, 1921. She came to Regina in 1924 with her mother, Sarah McMillan and her older brothers and sisters. Except for a short period during WWII she resided in Regina for the majority of her life. She married August (Gus) Andrews on January 1, 1944 and the couple gave birth to 3 sons. Madeliene was predeceased by her beloved mother, her father, George, her brothers, Angus, and Edward, sisters Ellen Peterman, Margaret Herbert and infant son, Donald. Madeliene is survived by her sons David (Theresa), and Douglas (Diane). As well as grandsons Kyle, Ryan (Tanya), Mark (Roxanne), Evan and great granddaughter Alanna. Madeliene will be fondly remembered by family and friends. Cremation will take place at Madeliene's request with a private family graveside service to follow at a later date.
