Obituary of Florentine 'Flossie' Marie Diamond

DIAMOND, FLORENCE FLOSSIE? MARIE On Thursday, March 19, 2009 Florence Flossie? Marie Diamond passed away. Predeceased by her parents; husband, John in 1977; two brothers, Adam and Paul; three sisters, Clementine, Mary, Matilda. Florence is survived by her loving son, Nick Diamond of Regina; and Yanni; two sisters, Theresa Fuchs, Isabel Terry. Florentine was commonly known as Flossie by her friends and family. Flossie was loved and cherished by all who knew her. She had many friends who she valued and loved. Flossie had a warm and giving heart, with a quick wit and always spoke her mind. She loved her days working at the Hotel Saskatchewan Ranch Room. Flossie loved her many regular customers and co-workers. Importantly, Flossie was very close to her family and her religion. Her prayers touched many persons. She was loved by Yanni, her Chocolate Lab, and her son, Nick, who held her hand as she passed. The family would like to thank Dr. John Morris and Susan, staff from the Pasqua Hospital 4A and Wascana Grace Hospice. Flowers are declined and donations can be made to the William Booth Wascana Grace Hospice, 50 Angus Road, Regina S4R 8P6. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Anne RC Church, 1701 Cowan Crescent, Regina with Very Rev. Anthony F. Dizy presiding. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
