Obituary of Brenda Gaylene Jenish

Jenish Rusu, Brenda Gaylene It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Gaylene Jenish Rusu in the early hours of March 23, 2009 at the age of 56. Brenda was predeceased by her father, Emil, her mother, Edna, and her sister-in-law, Pam. She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Allan, of Regina, her brother, Brian (Sonja) of Camrose, her sisters, Jayne Collison and Sheree Conley (Jay) of Saskatoon, sister, Ellen Delorme (Darrin) of Estevan, mother-in-law, Mildred Rusu of Kelowna and sisters-in-law, Judy Rusu of Kelowna, Sharon Rusu (Guy) of France, Allison Rusu of California and Rhonda Buac of Vancouver as well as nieces and nephews. Brenda was born and raised in Estevan. She moved to Regina, where she trained in nursing, in the 1970s. She was briefly employed as a nurse at the Plains Health Centre until psychiatric problems forced her to stop. She worked at various other jobs. She was grateful for Social Assistance from the late 1970s till the time of her death. She enjoyed needlepoint, crafts and sewing. Brenda loved God, her beloved Allan and her family. She had a big heart, doing many thoughtful things for others. She loved to laugh and enjoyed a good cup of coffee. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 29 from 6 to 8 pm at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Funeral Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel on Monday, March 30 at 2 pm, followed by graveside prayers at Riverside Memorial Park and funeral tea at Little Flower Hall, 420 College Avenue. Flowers gratefully declined.
