Obituary of Edward Fradette

FRADETTE, EDWARD GERALD Edward Gerald Fradette passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 2, 2009 in the Regina General Hospital at the age of 73 years. Ed was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Antonia and by his sisters, Dora, Theresa and Margaret. He leaves to mourn his wife of 51 years, Elsie; daughters, Karen (Ron) and Carmen; his precious grandson, Tanner; three brothers, Raymond (Bea), Ephrem, Peter (Cecile); three sisters, Anna Bourassa, Jeannine (Alvin) Van De Sype and Marie (John) Marecki; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Eddie worked for Shell Canada for over twenty years, where he enjoyed the friendship and camaraderie of many customers and associates. After retiring in 1993 he enjoyed working around the yard, spending time with his grandson, reading and following the CFL. Dad taught us honesty, a strong work ethic and putting others first. He will be forever loved and missed. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina.
