Obituary of Wendel Stephen Wagman

WENDEL WAGMAN On Thursday, April 16, 2009 Wendel Stephen Wagman passed away peacefully at the age of 89 years with family at his side. Predeceased by son Michael, granddaughter Lyndsey, son-in-law Mirv Kowalyshyn, parents Jacob and Mary, brothers Joe, Frank, John, sisters Gertrude, Bern, Jennie, and Ange. Wendel is survived by his wife of 56 years, Eunice (Cross), sons Wayne (Sherry), Patrick (Janet), Chris (Robyn), daughters Shirley (Eric Johnson), Joan (Deryl Ortynsky) Kowalyshyn, Nancy (Larry) Sykora, Glenda (Sandy Gerrard), Tammy (Allan) Bray, twenty-four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren. Also leaves to mourn brother Neil (June) and sisters Phyllis Wingrowich, Mary Smith, Lorna Wagman, and Geri Boychuk, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, April 21 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church in Balgonie with Rev. Frank Obrigewitsch presiding. Interment to follow in St. Josephs Colony Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Josephs Cemetery Fund, 771-2507 or to a charity of choice.
