Obituary of Ivy Adams

IVY ADAMS Family and friends were saddened with the passing of long time Regina resident Ivy Adams, on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, two days shy of her 101st birthday. Predeceased by husband Fred in 1979; brothers, Charlie and Alec Haysom; and sisters, Phylis Vinthers and Winnifred Douglas. Ivy is survived by son David, daughter-in-law Sheila Moxley; and several nieces and nephews. Ivy was an active member of the Shrine Ladies Auxiliary, and the Daughters of the Nile, where she established a life-long friendship with many of the people associated with those organizations. Ivy was employed with R.H. Williams and Robert Simpsons a number of years back, and still maintained close ties with co-workers of that era. The family wants to thank Parkside Extendicare for the excellent care provided to Ivy over the past few years. There will be no funeral service, however donations in memoriam, may be made to the WA WA Shriners Regina Drum Corps, 2065 Hamilton Street, Regina, SK, S4P 2E1.
