Obituary of Juliana Hicke

JULIANA HICKE Juliana Hicke (nee Klein) died on Saturday, May 9, 2009 two months short of her 99th birthday. Predeceased by her husband of fifty-nine years, Ben Hicke; her parents George and Elizabeth Klein; son-in-law Herman Waeyen; great-grandson Kyle Waeyen; brothers, Bernard, Tony, Linus and Father Kasper; sister Margaret Laturnus, Juliana is survived by her children, Betty (Bob) Gibson, Josephine (Robert) Smith, Rose (Norm) Stepan, Marian Waeyen and Jim Hicke; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; brother George (Josephine); sisters, Theresa Kambeitz and Anne Cox (Joe); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. J. S. McMillan, and the staff of QuAppelle House and Pasqua Hospital. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Marys R. C. Church, 2026 Winnipeg Street, Regina, SK with Rev. Danilo T. Rafael presiding. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
