LATHAM LEROY DUSTERBECK AUGUST 11, 1923 " MAY 14, 2009 On Thursday, May 14, 2009 Latham Leroy Dusterbeck passed away at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by his parents, Martin and Mary; first wife, Mary (nee Maier); sister, Germaine Bernaski. Latham is survived by his wife, Agnes; two sons Robert and his children, Sarah (Darren), Shelley, David, Roberta, Mitchell, Andrew; Donald and his son, Sol; three daughters, Susan (Ivan) Thomas and their children, Jennifer, Allison (Patrick); Marianne (Wayne) Morgan and their children Conrad and Laura; Joanne Dusterbeck; daughters-in-law, Mary and Katherine; two great-granddaughters; brother, Don (Josephine); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Family R. C. Church, 1021 McCarthy Blvd. North, Regina with Rev. Brad Fahlman presiding. Interment in the Soldiers Plot at Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 917 Albert Street, Regina S4R 2P6. He held a job and raised a family, Going on his quiet way And the world wont note his passing, Though a Sailor died today. If we cannot do him honour, While hes here to hear the praise, Then at least lets give him homage At the ending of his days. Perhaps just a tiny headline, Just a simple note to say OUR HEARTS ARE FILLED WITH SADNESS, FOR A SAILOR DIED TODAY.
