Obituary of Louis Sajtos

SAJTOS, Louis, 81 years old, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 24, 2007 after a courageous two year battle with cancer. Louis was born in Mandok, Hungary on February 12, 1926. He lived in Saskatchewan for seventy-nine years. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Joseph in 1999; his parents, Julia and Louis Sajtos; his sister, Susan Tulipan in 1997; and brothers-in-law, John Tulipan in 2005 and Steve Sich in 1979. He is survived by his daughter, Joanne (Peter); and the mother of his children, Betty. Louis is lovingly remembered by his brothers, Alex (Sophie), and Robert (Joan); his sisters, Helen Sich, and Viola Hultin (Carl); relatives in Hungary; many nephews and nieces; and his friend Velma Askin. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all the doctors, nurses and staff at the Pasqua and General Hospitals, and to the owners and staff at the M. Berta Personal Care Home for their professional and compassionate care of Louis. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 29, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Zion United Church, 120 Broad Street, Regina.
