Obituary of W. Gary 'Bud' Heckman

Heckman " Gary Bud? Heckman passed away suddenly on Friday, June 29, 2007 at the age of 73. Bud was predeceased by his parents Bob and Marcina Heckman. Grieving his loss is Dodie, his loving wife of 47 years. Also surviving are daughter Jan (Art) Burkart and their children Sara and Emily of Regina, son Terry (Kim de Laforest) and their son Hunter of Saskatoon, and son Ian (Val) and their children Carter and Jackson of Victoria. Bud is also survived by his sister Norene (Ray) Craddick of Atlanta, their son Robert (Betsy Westlund) and their son Forest of La Mesa, Ca., sister-in-law Willa (Keith) Yeomans of Chilliwack, brother-in-law Don (Barbara) Morrison of Regina and their families, and many cousins. Bud was raised in Gibbs, Sk. and worked for many years as a chartered accountant for Ward Johnston Electric in Regina and later as a courier for CIBC. He was a member of Regina Central Lions Club for over 30 years and was recently presented a life membership in the Saskatchewan Eye Bank. Reverend Ron Sutton will officiate at a memorial service on Thursday, July 5 at 2:30 pm in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Ave. There will be a private family interment at Regina Memorial Gardens.
