Obituary of Gabriel Michael (Mike) Trenker

TRENKER, Gabriel Michael " On Saturday June 30, 2007, we lost the heart of our family when our Dad Mike passed away. Dad had a truly special kindness, and generosity that has touched the lives of many. His unique sense of humor and positive attitude will forever be remembered. He was predeceased by his parents Maria and Paul and sister Jean. Mike will be greatly missed by his wife Helen, children Gerri (Rob), Bruce (Angela), Ron (Dawn), granddaughters Cheryl (Chaun), Kristen (Sheldon), Leah and Jessica. He is also survived by his siblings, Paul, Joe, Tony, Mary, Kay and Doreen as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mikes life will be held for family and friends on Thursday July 5, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care Unit, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina S4T 1A5. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all of Mikes caregivers, Dr. Zagozeski and especially to his wife Helen for her constant dedication and continuous support throughout the years.
