GILBERT DUMELIE March 2nd 1935 - August 17th 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce Gils sudden death. He is survived by Terrie, the love of his life. Children, Mike (Barb Osborne), Patrick (Stephanie), Geordie (Kim), Jacquie Cope (Brock Sebastian), Nicole (Craig McDonald), Danielle (Jeff Peppler), Ryan (Kristina Hallwas). Grandchildren, Tiffany Cope, Tiana and Carmen Sebastian, Rory and Liam Dumelie, Anya and Chaz Peppler, Cash McDonald, Asher Dumelie. Brothers and sisters, Larry (Karen), Roger (Cathy Gander), Eileen (Eugene Flichel), Louise Muir, Carroll (Les Crompton), Ann (Calvin Mastad), Florence (Gilbert Verhelst), Leona (Lorne Brown). Father-in-law Jack Newman, brothers and sisters-in law Larry (Dianne) Crook and Miles Newman (Julie McKenna) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Gilbert and Mary Dumelie, his brother Raymond and sister-in-law Carol, his mother-in-law Jean Newman, and brothers-in-law John Newman and Jim Crook. Gils love for his family was unconditional. His zest for life was apparent in his many interests that he shared so readily with others. His passion for education and coaching touched many lives. Prayers will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. There is viewing from 4:30-6:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at Resurrection R.C. Church, 3155 Windsor Park Rd, Regina, SK on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either the MS Society, 150 Albert St., Regina, SK, S4R 2N2 or the Canadian Diabetes Association, 917A Albert St., Regina, SK, S4R 2P6.
