Obituary of Patricia Jean Hallsworth

HALLSWORTH " On Wednesday, July 18, 2007, Patricia Jean Hallsworth passed away at the age of 92 years. Predeceased by her parents Ed and Vida (Reid) Greenaway; sister Betty; infant brother; husband Jesse; daughter, Alice; son Brett; and daughter-in-law, Linda Hallsworth. Pat is survived by her three sons: Douglas (Janet), (Moose Jaw) and their family: Cheryl (Mike) Gurney, Mercedes and Ransome (Rumford, Maine, USA), Patti (Darryl) Laslo, Brittany and Devin (Regina) and Jess (Moose Jaw); Shane (Regina) and Gregg (Regina Beach). Pat was born in Regina on January 31, 1915 where she lived for much of her life excepting five years during her school years in Chicago, Illinois and retirement years at Regina Beach. She was active in the music world, playing the piano on the radio and in the Regina Symphony Orchestra where she met Jesse. They were married in 1938 and provided a good, safe, happy home for their five children. Pat took pride in always being there when we came home from school and did her best to nurture her family. She always had great interest in the activities of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. To the end, she said that she was still here to keep an eye? on us. The family would like to thank the staff of Pioneer Village for taking good care of Mom for the past three years. A Private family graveside service will be held. Flowers gratefully declined.
