Obituary of Sister Anne Hennessey

HENNESSEY " On Saturday, August 18, 2007 Sister Anne Hennessey passed away peacefully at Regina General Hospital at the age of 82 years. Predeceased by her parents; three brothers, Maurice Hennessey, Lorne Hennessey, Ray Hennessey; and one sister, Catherine Doiron. Sister Anne is survived by five sisters, Mary Hennessey, Margaret Hughes, Sister Shirlie Hennessey, R.P.B., Bernadine Carter, Rosalie Connolley; as well as many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Sister Anne was the fourth child in her family of ten. She entered the Sisters of the Precious Blood, July 25, 1947 in Charlottetown, P.E.I. Sister Anne made her final profession May 24, 1952 in Charlottetown, P.E.I. She has served in many of our Monasteries over the years, as well as on our General Council. Sister Anne will be missed by all. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 from 4:00 " 9:00 p.m. in the Sisters of Precious Blood Convent, 2210 " 25th Avenue, Regina. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Convent. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Anne R. C. Church, 1701 Cowan Crescent, Regina.
