Obituary of Jeanette Wingert

JEANETTE WINGERT (nee Cowan) Jeanette passed away at the age of 98 years at Parkside Extendicare on Sunday, August 19, 2012. She was born in Scotland on June 6, 1914 and came to Canada in 1931. Jeanette is survived by her daughters Irene Graff and son Brian (Rachel) and their son Jonas, Dorothy McCready and her daughter Shelley (Lyle) Piprell and their children Kaitlynn, MacKenzie and Wyatt of Borden, SK; sister Emma (George) Chapman of Scotland; and sister-in-law Ann (Wingert) Seitz; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband John; grandson Barry Graff; sons-in-law Allan Graff and Wayne McCready; her parents and seven siblings, of Scotland. A special thank you to Lois Ulriksen for your many acts of kindness and support. Thanks to Mervin Smith for his support and care. Thank you to the nurses and staff at Parkside Extendicare for your dedication and compassionate care. Mom wished for no funeral.
