DUFOUR, Isabelle Marie Dufour (Stonechild), born June 15, 1942 passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2007 to continue her journey with her many loved ones before her. Predeceased by her mother, Bella Stonechild (Shingoose); father James Stonechild; brothers Walter (Stoney), Leon and Dennis; sisters Dorothy Desnomie and Ila Stonechild; daughter Charlene Dufour; son-in-law Norman; one son in infancy; son Darcy Dufour; son-in-law Darrel Starr; granddaughter Dasheena Lasass; great-grandson Robert Watetch-Starr; and many others she loved and missed. Isabelle is survived by her children Theodore Stonechild (Shirley), Angela Starr (Lee), Gordon Stonechild (Penny), Arnold Dufour (Ellie), one daughter in care Cecilia; grandchildren Twilight (Harley), Joseph, William (Amber), Miami (Robert), Darrel, Mikie, Stuart (Amanda), Amaya, Tarrin, Bradley McKay (Brenluy), Ivy, Darcy and Shalene; her great-grandchildren, Dashay Starr, Lashay Starr, Aleigha, Memphisis and Victoria; her brothers James Stonechild (Emily), Jeffery Stonechild and Wayne Stonechild; sisters Millie Stonechild, Bernice Desnomie. Wake to be held on Friday, September 7, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. in I.M.C.F. Hall, 3131 Dewdney Avenue. A Christian and Traditional Service will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in I.M.C.F. Hall. Burial to be at the Peepeekisis First Nation at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 8, 2007. The family would like to thank the many people who helped.
