Obituary of William Leonard 'Len' Moore

MOORE " William Leonard, A loving gentleman passed away on September 14, 2007. He will be sadly missed by his devoted family and wonderful circle of friends. Len was predeceased by the first love of his life, his wife Edna, as well as his sister Effie and brother Douglas. Len is survived by his devoted and loving wife Dee, daughters Coleen (Jim Kruger) and Marilyn (Paul Gardner), son Doug and sister Betty Glydon. His grandchildren were one of his greatest treasures " Shannon, Sean and Tyler Kruger, Rob and Jamie Moore, Jessica, Ashleigh and Mariah Gardner and great granddaughters Emma and Liadan Moore. Len lived a warm, rich life and taught all who knew him to love life as he did and delight in the laughter he loved. Len served overseas with the 1st Canadian Armored Brigade from 1939 through 1945 and was awarded the British Empire Medal. Len enjoyed the years he worked with Brinks and the Corps of Commissionaires. A celebration of Lens life will be held on Wednesday, September 19 at 1:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Lens memory be made to the Palliative Care Unit at Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, Sk.
