Obituary of Edna Clara Taylor

TAYLOR - Edna (nee Phillips) of the Victoria Park Personal Care Home and formerly of Tugaske, SK, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 24, 2007 after a brief stay at the Pasqua Hospital Palliative Care Unit, Regina. Edna was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Cora Phillips, one brother Edward and two sisters Eva and Ivy, her husband Reg, sisters in law, Dola, Lily, and Clara, brothers in law, Bob, Alex, John and Gilbert, and daughter in law, Bobbie. She is survived by sons Wilfred (Irene), and Bill (Gaye) and daughter Ruby (Don) Wood, brother in law Frank (Lois) Taylor, 5 grandchildren, Megan Taylor (fiance Bradly Mundy), Ron Wood, Lana (Bryan) Sorsenson, Dallas (Ryan Williams) Taylor, Chad (Susie) Taylor and 7 great grandchildren and several special nieces and nephews. Edna was born at Girvin, Sask. in 1918 and lived on a farm near Tugaske until her husband passed away in 1994 at which time she moved to Regina. She will be sadly missed by her many friends in the Eildon District as well as all of her special friends in Regina who have been so supportive of her during the past 13 years. Special thanks go to the staff of the Victoria Park Personal Care Home and in particular to Doctor Clein and the staff in Palliative Care. Visitation for family and friends on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 from 7:00 " 8:00 p.m. at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 26 in Speers Funeral Chapel. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. Flowers most gratefully declined.
