Obituary of Jean Isabel Magnusson

MAGNUSSON " Jean Isabel who was born February 5, 1937 died September 28, 2007. Jean was predeceased by her husband Roy and granddaughter Mariah Faye Magnusson. Jean was survived by her sons and their families: Robert (Sandra), Christine; Christopher (Shelly), Mackenzie; Eric (Kathy), Eric Jr., Kerrie and Shania; Wade (Tanya), Tiffany Sorenson, Amber, Dustin and Gillian; Kurt, Damion; Scott (Norma), Kellie and Calvin; and one brother Gordon and Ann Moffat; numerous nieces and nephews. Jeans life was always full first raising her six boys, and then later helping with her grandchildren. For fifteen years she worked at the Regent Daycare looking after the infants and toddlers where she was affectionately called Auntie Jeannie. For her, this was a labour of love and gave her many years of enjoyment. When she retired she was able to spend time watching curling and tennis. She enjoyed crosswords, reading and gardening. Everyone appreciated the time she spent baking their favorite treats like cinnamon buns and apple pies. Time spent laughing with everyone were the best of times. Her cheerfulness earned her long time friends like Kathy and neighbours who were always ready for coffee and a good chat. Jean will be remembered by all for her loving kindness towards everyone. Her love of life will be with us forever in the laughter and love we share together.
