Obituary of Katherine Theresa Fahlman

FAHLMAN " In loving memory of Katherine (Kay) Fahlman (nee Moser) who passed away at the age of 97 years, on Monday, October 1, 2007. She is survived by daughters: Marion (Mike) Ibach and Joan Fahlman; son James (Jackie) Fahlman; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Susan (Aurele) Jalbert, Agnes and Anne Moser, Margaret Bulai. Katherine was predeceased by her husband; Joseph L. Fahlman in 2004; granddaughter Deborah; brothers, Henry, Jake, Luke, Joe and John Moser; sisters-in-law, Theresa and Melvina Moser. Mom enjoyed traveling and visiting with family and friends. She was an active member of Little Flower C.W.L. for over fifty years, holding various executive offices. Katherine was also very involved in Columbian Ladies and the Santa Maria Volunteers organization, and belonged to the local Osteopathic Association. Even though Mom enjoyed her several part-time positions in her younger years, and her social groups, she was primarily a wife and homemaker, as her family always came first. For the last several years Katherine resided at Pioneer Village. We thank all those relatives and friends who brightened her days with their visits. We also thank the staff on 4 West for their care of Mom. Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Little Flower R.C. Church, 420 College Avenue, Regina, with Rev. Bill Mahoney celebrant and Rev. Steve Ripplinger con-celebrant. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be acceptable.
