Obituary of Judith McLellan

JUDITH McLELLAN February 1, 1940 - August 25, 2012 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She is predeceased by her parents Jack and Elva Bottomley, her brother Jerry and her dear friend Lynne Calnek. She is survived and will be missed by her children Stephan, Shane (wife Linda), Laura, Meghan (husband Steve), Morgan (wife Rebecca) and Roshael (Tracey; husband Ron); and grandchildren Quinlan, Autumn, Benjamin, Joseph, Abigail, Rebekah, Rachel, Esteva, Claire, Linnea and great granddaughter Brielle. She is also survived by her sister Janet McDade and niece Shelley, her brother John and nephew Daniel and niece Joanne; as well as numerous other family and friends. Judith, without question, was the strong bond who single-handedly held her family together. She will always be remembered for her belief in the fundamental goodness of people and her efforts to aid others, especially children in reaching their potential to become the best they can be. For those who knew her, she was passionate about the natural world, education, community service and to living with honour and dignity. A celebration of Judiths life will take place on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Heritage Alliance Church, 3575 Hillsdale Street, Regina.
