Obituary of Stanley Gregory Krause

KRAUSE " Stanley Gregory Krause, born May 9, 1930, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2007. Stan moved to Regina at the age of 5 years. He attended St. Josephs and Central Collegiate. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to develop Muffler Clinic Inc. on January 1, 1963. He also worked for TCA. He belonged to the Cosmopolitan, German Harmony Club, Victoria Club, played junior football and taxi squad for the Roughriders, he ran the Terry Fox run from its inaugural year and was a faithful member of Blessed Sacrament R. C. Church. One of his greatest achievements was operating his very successful business for 37 years. Stan was predeceased by his father, Martin; mother, Elizabeth; brothers, Ed, Ernie and Frank; sisters, Agnes and Helen. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Guzz (Ellen); six children, Nancy (Peter) Larsen, Marty (Ruth) Krause, Janie (Brian) Gillis, Bozo Krause, Jackie (Steve) Burchi, Shari Krause; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 12, 2007 at 12:00 noon in Blessed Sacrament R. C. Church, 2049 Scarth Street, Regina with Rev. Stephen Bill presiding. A private interment will be held. A tea will follow at Speers Family Centre, 2333 Cornwall Street, Regina. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in memoriam, to Souls Harbour Rescue Mission, 3535 " 8th Avenue, Regina S4T 0T6.
